Vancity Allie courageously braved the cold weather to catch a glimpse of New Moon cast members filming the pivotal birthday party scene. Vancity Allie and her friends were rewarded for their patience by Peter Facinelli, Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed coming to say thanks and take a few pictures. Then Jackson Rathbone came out to talk to them. Later Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene stopped their car and rolled down the window to talk to them.

They also got a pretty good idea of the wardrobe for the birthday party scene. The vampires look amazing as did Kristen Stewart even though she was covered up in a bath robe!

The Herald Sun had a new interview with Ashley Greene. She talks about her new found fame since becoming Alice. She also talks about Jackson Rathbone who plays her on-screen husband/soulmate Jasper Hale.

"Greene's role in the film may also have found her love -- with her on-screen husband, of all people.

The chemistry between Greene and on-screen partner Jasper Hale (played by best-friend Jackson Rathbone) has lead to rumours the two are dating.

Though Greene is adamant they are not, she admits the only thing keeping them apart is their hectic schedules.

"He and I both don't have time to date, but we do have amazing chemistry," she says.

"We both have such big crushes on each other and it clearly shows. We got along instantly and the day we met, he was teaching me how to swing dance.

"He (Rathbone) does everything. He sings, he dances, and he's so sweet. Even my mum has a crush on him and tells me, 'You should date him'. So, who knows, maybe when we both stop running around the world."

Christian Serratos updated her myspace blog to talk about her New Moon filming experience. This is some of what she said:


"I am finished filming New Moon. It was great to see everyone again!
Chris Weitz was great! I can't believe that I have been so fortunate to have worked with such talented people in such a short time. Stephenie, Catherine, Chris and more. I am so grateful!"

She went on to say that she was happy that the design team could find her something to wear that was animal product free and talks about her PETA shoot.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass, About A Boy) is the director. New Moon is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.

Also rejoining the cast are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria.

New cast members include the legendary Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires who enforce the laws of the vampire world, as well as two new members of the Quileute Indian Nation and of course the Werewolves.

The Volturi include Noot Seer as Heidi, Charlie Bewley as Demetri and Daniel Cudmore as Felix, all members of the Volturi Guard. Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a high ranking and powerful member of the Volturi Guard and Cameron Bright plays Alec, Jane's equally talented and powerful brother. Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus as two of the three Volturi coven members. Michael Sheen plays Aro, the third coven member and Volturi Leader.

Graham green appears as Harry Clearwater, Quileute tribal leader and old friend of Bella's father, Charlie. Tinsel Korey is Emily Young, the fiancé of Sam Uley.

The werewolf pack includes Alex Meraz as Paul, Chaske Spencer as Sam Uley, Tyson Houseman as Quil Ateara, Bronson Pelletier as Jared and Kiowa Gordon as Embry Call.

In New Moon, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.
